For a cheap smart phone - there is always the orange spv c500 recon £69.99
although its a bit old now and its a rebranded HTC running the older version of windows mobile. But they are easy to unlock for free.

Good phone with a really good deal. If you buy through Quidco (£25 back in referral fees + half price line rental for 15 months via cash back - works out at just £19 a month.

2 months free offpeak browsing worth £5 per month + Orange magic numbers. I wasn't too happy about taking out an 18 month contract but this deal gives me 500 Xnet mins + 500 txts and free calls to my girlfriend.

im selling an MDA pro which comes with a full keyboard, wifi and camera for £270 - not the smallest phone but the keyboard etc make life some much easier and worth it!
