Hotmail Not Connecting via Outlook 2003

I have a couple of hotmail accounts and these are not connecting through Outlook 2003. Nothing has changed in my settings and this problem has now being going on for 2 days. It is claming that it was an invalid login and access is denied. This problem used to crop up every now and again but on tetrying was normally successful.

Any ideas?

Login to hotmail via your web account to check if you password is still correct and also re-enter your password in the password field in Outlook.

this is what i got when i tried to download my mail from my free account
'The server responded 'Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now
requires a subscription.'

Did that last night everything appears ok.

Just looked into this and this is what Hotmail say:-

To protect our users from the increasing amount of unsolicited junk e-mail or spam sent from MSN Hotmail accounts through Outlook and Outlook Express, we have reluctantly had to restrict the new use of Outlook and Outlook Express to subscribers only.

The interesting words are "new use". I habe been running this account through outlook for a few years now. Does this mean it has now changed?

To hell it was an Ebay email addy so have changed it to a googlemail account. Hotmail was always a pain through outlook anyway!!!
