The only experience of pistol shooting i have had was while having a coffee in Wenceslas square about three years ago somebody got shot about 50yards down the road from us.

    Scary but true.

Pretty rare for that kind of violence in Prague I believe.

    Sorry

I meant range shooting. There are some clubs there which I found on the search but does anyone has experience of these clubs -how good are they.

Ehm...Ave...I am sure many people have glanced at this post today and thought 'that's a bit odd'. I did. May I now be so bold as to ask if you are really planning to go to Prague in particular to find a pistol shooting range?

This seems a very strange place to ask about how to meet people in another country who have access to handguns, especially in bits of Europe where I heard it was rather distressingly easy to get access to guns.

Have you tried more formal enquiries through your licensed gun club in the UK? I am sure they or the NRA will be able to advise you.

    Thanks for responding.
We are a group of friends going to Prague for holidaying for a week and while going through "Prague tours "came across pistol shooting and thought why not do it for fun.I don't think there is anything wrong in it. There are few clubs which organise 2-3 hrs such fun and that is why I asked others experience if any one had.
