What I want to know is I wonder if there is any way I could run skype directly from this? Any ideas anyone? So in theory I could have it connected to the landline but running Skype as well via the browser or even a skype app if they have one for android??
Any comments most welcome

You'd need to find out what market it can access (if any). It won't be the official one and on there the official Skype app is for Android 2.1 and later. There are other SIP clients around but Skype isn't completely standard.
It looks an expensive way of getting VOIP without a computer - I bought an ATA on eBay for about £20 (it won't do Skype though but there are plenty of alternatives)0 -
Hello thanks for posting

SO I would need to figure out what version of Android OS it uses and go from there? If it is a version that is not compatible will Skype run from the built in browser?
It is a bit expensive I must admit, it is a cool gadget though and I have to say I am a bit of a sucker for stuff like this so seriously thinking of giving it a whirl, I am justifying it as a purchase by thinking I was going to buy one of the RTX Dualphones, a single unit is around 80 quid ish so it was easy to talk myself into this instead lol

Apparently a "large" 2.8in screen and android 1.6 is good. Give it a miss myself though.0
