Hi,
i was wondering if anyone knows if the ps3 is out yet in Hong Kong, and if it is, how much would it be?

    The same from what I've heard, but you'd get a few pirate goodies to go with it if you go to a dedicated hardware store.

    However, bear in mind that the console is cheaper in Japan and therefore its difficult to assess the price in HK.

    Would you know how much roughly its gonna sell for over here in March?
    I am going back to hk, and my 10yr old son wants one,and so does some other members of family,will i be able to play the same games here in the uk as the ones in hk?

    Uk Games will not work on HK PS3. It's region locked

    I presume you are going to need a step up/down convertor

    The only problem with purchasing one from HK if anything goes wrong I presume you will need to return it back to where you purchased it from as Sony done this with the PSP as I purchased one from Japan and was told that Sony Europe wont fix it if it breaks as I would need to return it to Japan at my own costs

    Will i REALLY need one?
    I was thinking of just buying the console and a few games, i don't expect it to break down too soon!But if that happens, i have family who are bound to go back within 6 months.
