Who do I claim the PPI from here?

Hi, can someone please help me? I bought a car 2 years ago and have been paying credit protection insurance to Mapfre Abraxas for it, as arranged by the garage. I didn't realise that I could get it elsewhere and have been paying £26.61 pcm, and have just seen I can get the same cover for £2pcm!! Needless to say I am not impressed as I had payment protection in my car prior to that as well through the same garage.
Do I contact the garage to get it back, or write to Abraxas?
Please help!

Hello there
Its the garage head office you need to pursue as these as the ones responsible for setting this up for you from the start.
Follow the procedures of reclaiming below......
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
You can write a letter in your own words, write you believe you were mis sold the Payment Protection Insurance (PPI), give the reasons and ask they refund what you have paid of the policy and interest by 8 weeks of your letter.
Or complete the questionnaire as shown below, this replaced the template letter.
Keep copies of all you send and receive in case you need to refer to this at some point.

Good luck, please keep us posted. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thank you. I have just been going through the old paperwork. Original credit agreement was with GE, just noticed a sneaky £400 insurance included which I don't remeber agreeing to. Will be taking this up with them as well!
