Where can I buy a cheap dustbuster from

Please don't move this thread for a couple of days as I think more people will see it here than in the other forum.
I need one for hoovering small things as I have a bad back and whenever I use a dustpan and brush for a few crumbs I'm worried my back will just totally go on me.
Think a dustbuster will solve that rather than having to get the hoover out which is in an awkward cupboard and is a very heavy old thing.
I'm not looking for the cheapest one ever necessarily, just one that will do the job I want efficiently.
Not looking for a second hand one as knowing my luck I would get one that someone who doesn't know what they are doing has fiddled with the electrics.
Thanks in advance.

I purchased my dustbuster from https://www.amazon.co.uk, dont buy the cheapest as they are not very powerful.0

i know it might sound funny but poundstretcher has dirt devils for only £7.99 (the red ones), my sister bought one last weekend and I have to say it does the job0

Now that is a good price, I was thinking I would have to pay at least £20 for a half decent one but nowhere near the price of the one in my link above. Thanks for that. I wonder how long it will last though seeing as it is still new.0

I know from experience as whenever I have put a post in 'I wanna,' it hardly gets any views and often my query doesn't get answered at all.
I have pretty much always got the answers I want from this board as there are always people with the knowledge and these are people that in the main part propbably wouldn't go onto 'I wanna' but would know the answer to my query here.
I don't mind if after a few days the post gets moved over there as I will probably have got all the answers I want and so the thread can just die like it always does there as the viewing figures there are dire.
I understand though that people don't want posts such as this clogging up this board but this really is one of the best boards to get an answer to a query such as mine (in my experience).0 -

I can understand your point of view. Sadly - it's still human nature for people to be more interested in checking out the bargains boards, rather than the boards where people are looking for answers.
Whenever I have time, I have a quick glance through 'I Wanna' and run a quick search via Kelkoo and High Street Web (via Quidco of course!) to see if I can find what people are looking for. That way we both benefit.
Incidentally, I picked up a decent dustbuster with a Good Housekeeping magazine subscription recently. They have run that offer a couple of times before.0 -
Thanks guys for your support.
I will probably wait for a bit before purchasing one though it is something that I definitely 'want'.
Thats a good idea to do that through Quidco, I've only just joined but was reluctant as there is nothing (apart from the dustbuster and I only just though of that today) that I want to buy so didn't think it would be much use to me.
I do like recommendations when someone has actually used a product though.
Maybe I should wait until after Christmas when they have sales all over the place as the best sales in my experience has been the ones after Christmas. Are they still called January sales? Most of them start on Boxing Day!0 -
Had you thought about a dustpan with a long handle at right angles and a long brush - cheap shops often have these at about £4. This saves bending at all, I got one for DH gran who was in her 90's.0

Thats another thing I could think about. Great suggestion, thanks.
I'm not sure when I am going to have time to go shopping for it.:o0
