Terms say the comp is open to all UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents, but as the sponsor is P+O it seems strange that you would be able to leave out the ferry travel.

Terms and Conditions

1. Open to all UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents except employees and their immediate families of VisitScotland, P&O Ferries, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Limited to one entry per household. No third party or bulk entries will be accepted.
3. Entrants under 18 require parental/guardian’s permission to take part & to be awarded prize.

7. All entries received will be entered into the prize draw to win the following: 1 x prize for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) which includes; 1 x 2-night stay at 5-star Kirkbride Farm Holiday Cottages, Wigtown, staying in Inchmalloch House on a self-catering basis; 1 x family entry to Monreith Animal World Centre and Museum; 1 x family entry to Dean Castle and Country Park; 1 x 2-night stay at 5 gold-star Cosses Country House, on a bed and breakfast basis; 1 x full day family bike hire with RT Cycles & Fishing; return ferry from Larne to Cairnryan or Troon courtesy of P&O Ferries.
8. Prize also includes £200 spending money and £100 maximum travel allowance. Travel allowance will be paid once the prizewinner provides full receipts. Amount payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion and will be to a maximum of £100 in total.
9. The prize does not include any travel insurance, meals or any other expenses, and must be taken in full by 31st March 2011.
10. All elements of prize package are subject to date availability, are weather dependent, maintenance dependent, subject to change and are subject to prizefund provider standard operator terms and conditions.
11. Cosses County House is closed in January and February, and the 2-night stay is not redeemable at this time.
12. Return ferry travel is valid for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) including a car, from Larne to Cairnryan. Please note that ferry timetable changes throughout the year, and is subject to change.
13. Dean’s Castle is opening as follows: April - September: 11am – 5pm daily, October - March: 10am – 4pm. From October to March the castle will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays excluding public holidays.
14. The prize is non-transferrable, and is as stated. No cash or other alternative prize is available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.
15. One winner will be drawn at random from all entries received, under independent supervision on 5th November 2010 and notified in writing within 28 days of the closing date. Confirmation on redemption of the prize must be received within one month of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the prize, and another winner will be drawn. The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. No responsibility can be taken for any entries that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due to internet connection issues or systems failure or anything else that prevents entries being received. Proof of online entry or postage does not constitute proof of delivery.
17. By entering the promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will result in a forfeit of the prize.
