Need an emergency white shirt/black bow tie!

Hubby runs a mobile disco business. At previous gigs, the smartest he's been asked to dress is smart/casual, so he normally wears black trousers and a dressy shirt.
However he's doing a very posh wedding at the weekend, and the couple have just e-mailed to inform him that he must wear a white shirt and black bow tie.
Where is the cheapest place to buy a shirt and bow tie tomorrow? He'll never wear it again, unless he gets another posh booking so he begrudes paying a lot for one.
I'm working tomorrow so will be out and about. Any suggestions appreciated.

I would try charity shops if I were you.
Do not just look at what is on display - ask - as there may be something in the back room."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

Any plain white shirt would be ok. If you can't find a bow tie you could always ask the people who he is doing the wedding if they've got one he can borrow, worth a try.0

M&S have one on their website for £15
Debenhams have a sale on, but I can't find any on their site.
Moss Bross have this one

in fact they have a few - one is for £15, the others are more. The one above comes with a bowtie.
There are some on ebay for sale although I guess that may be cutting it too fine?!0 -

I tried Asda and they didn't have any. Tried all the other shops in town, and could only find a set for £33 in the Co-op department store, or £20 in Burtons, so I went for the Burtons one.
We haven't got a Debenhams or Moss Bros or M&S in town, and I was feeling yukky with morning sickness, I paid the £20 as I couldn't be bothered to drive to a town with those shops inHere I go again on my own....0 -
£5 to save isn't worth it if you're feeling icky though - glad you managed to find one for him and at least he'll have it there incase there's a next time he needs it!!

I fully agree with Murtle if you have got morning sickness ( my sympathies) than bagging a bargain wasn't your main concern. At least he has got a shirt now.
Ps Try Ginger biscuits I ahd them with me all the time when I was pregnant. Good for M S.

Thanks - been eating digestives as I prefer them to ginger biscuits. Lidl sell them for 25p a packet - bargain!
