Need a cheap London hotel / B&B for tonight and tomorrow

My ex girldfriend and my 8yr old son are currently on their way to London on a spare of the moment two night visit.
She's asked me if I could find her a cheap hotel or B&B with a twin room for tonight and tomorrow.
I've found a few for about £60pn and upwards but she's looking for something a bit cheaper if possible.
Doesn't matter if it's far out in the suburbs as long as there's reasonable public transport.
Has anybody got any suggestions?

Travelodges should be cheaper than that. They usually do offers if you are staying over two nights.

I think you will struggle on this one unless you get on the phone and call up all the small B&Bs, I couldnt find anything cheaper just now0
