Halifax Clarity or PO Card for the America?

Hi guys.

Hoping for some advice in order to make my mind up, undecided in what to do

I already have a PO card but was wondering if it's worth trying for a Clarity card instead? We're off to the US in late November and just looking at our options seeing as my Nationwide card will have changed then :mad:

I've read Martins guide and this thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2737329 which answered quite a few questions, just after more feedback as to weather it's worth trying for the Clarity seeing as i have a PO card already.

Finally, would i have to inform the company that i'll be away when i intend to use it?
