Can the Mrs take a handbag on RyanAir

Just got a quick question regarding good ol' RyanAir. Can the Mrs take her handbag with her on the plane as ordinary handluggage or does it have to be stored in a special hand luggage case that RyanAir recommends?

You can use anything as a holdal, but if you have a small suitcase or similar hand luggage aswell, the handbag will need to be able to fit in there too :)
  • And some sarnies and cheese & onion crisps? I can take these in a carrier bag?

i recently flew with ryan air from bristol airport and they had big signs up for easy jet and ryan air stating that along with your hand luggage you were now able to take one bag of duty free purchase /or goods bought in the airport

as i had my handbag and my carry on bag as well i bought a few things from superdrug asked for a big carrier bag and stuffed the handbag in that and got on the plane with no problems :D
