Hi
We are currently buying a new house and we are getting our mortgage via Nationwide.
Yesterday we received a yes from them and they will send all the relevant paperwork to us once we complete this and send proof of income etc.
Will they carry out another credit search or will the one they done yesterday be it.
Sorry for the daft question.

It depends if their Yes was an actual offer or just an AIP/DIP (Agreement in Principle/Decision In Principle). If the latter then they are likely to still have a credit search to co.0

The general consensus is once it has went to offer, it is unlikely another search will happen, though one may happen if it has been a long time since offer, terms have changed (purchase price), or it has randomnly been audited.
The solicitor will carry a bankruptcy search on you prior to completion (which does not go through Experian AFAIK)0
