I own a freehold property part commercial and upper residential

I need to raise capital to finish off the refurbishment of the upper part.
can anyone suggest the best way to raise capital quickly for this project.. the building is paid for with no mortgage.

    Depending on the amount involved and the repayment term, an unsecured loan would probably be quicker (and safer, in these trobled times) than a mortgage. Unfortunately, it is bound to be more expensive.

  • I agree with above poster.

    I don't think you can get a residential mortgage on a property part used for business anyway so a commercial one may be your only other option.
