So long Kirsty

Kirsty Allssopp :A will quit television & concentrate on motherhood after her Channel 4 contract ends in 2008, according to today's Independent. No doubt supported from the revenue from any property empire she has acquired in the last decade.

Is there any future for Location, Location, Location?
What will Phil do now?
Is this the key turning point that will signal the end of the long property boom?
Will Kirsty return to ride the next upwave?

So long Kirsty  . Life will never be the same ;).

I, like you, saddened by this news. More so that didnt she call her little offspring, beige? Or did I mishear that off the radio?

Maybe she realises that enoughs enough. The format has been exhausted (or has it?) And once you get interior design X factor, you know the genres heading to extinction.

So long kirsty, Hopefully people will forget who you are, and then people in my family will stop saying, "Lynz you are looking more like kirsty allsop every day"

and I can stop boring my OH with a gag from sketch show " Hi Im kirsty allsop, I wasnt born I was knitted" :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Hurray! Burn the witch!
My policies are based not on some economics theory, but on things I and millions like me were brought up with: an honest day's work for an honest day's pay; live within your means; put by a nest egg for a rainy day; pay your bills on time; support the police - Margaret Thatcher.

See the daily mail - her sister is taking over - her sister is a bit younger and a bit more scantily dressed, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=409171&in_page_id=1773

Kirsty named her child "BAY ATLAS" clearly mistakign being asked to name a baby with the title of a San Fran Guide book, it has been pointed out to me she gave birth to a Rhino and not a normal sized child.

    And nearly a decade younger!

    Thanks for that update, barnaby.

I'm sure Phil's had a few ideas already ;). No doubt we'll see a few more of his wicked smiles in his new surroundings.

Her sister's qualification is apparently that she bought a flat in Shepherd's bush a couple of years ago and it's gone up 25% since.

Well done her, what an expert that makes her.

  • Did she buy it or did Lord Hindlipp buy it for her ?

Don't be mean, wbb. She has worked for an Estate Agent's for two years . And she's quite a looker.

So now we have "Location, location, location" meats "Dynasty".

How far have the humble EAs come in such a short time ;).

Having seen the Daily Mail photo - Sophie has all the attributes needed IMHO! ;) _pale_
  • That was worth a look just to see Kristy described as "part woman, part Care Bear" - good to see that our new presenter likes spending her time "riding across the steppes of Mongolia on horseback" ???????

Hopefully by appointing someone as an expert on LLL who only qualification appears to be being related to an "expert", people will be able to see through this show (I can only hope)!
  • Is it me or does Sofie look like a posh Kat Slater??
