Last Saturday I bought a cheap second hand mobile of ebay, it cost less than £40 including postage, Bought and paid straight away, its now Friday and nothing has came.
On Tuesday I emailed the guy, no reply, again on Weds no reply, got !!!!!! of yesterday and opened a Paypal dispute, no reply, they appear to have just vanished, they had 25 feedback all 100% positive, and advice? I know Paypal will give me my money back but it'll be tied up for ages.

You have to let the paypal dispute run until they get to the review bit. Then, if you get no quick result, phone them.0

They might well be, I can't honestly think of any other reason, 22 feedback 100% positive, they sold 3 other items around the time mine ended and no one has left feedback, I wonder is it possible to contact the other folk that bought off them?0 -
paypal will only give you your money back if there is still money in the sellers account. i g=bought a crystal bouquet for 40.00 and it didnt arrive, got 17p back.0

Alot of sellers and buyers do die during an ebay transaction.0

Rules changed several years ago, you are out of date. There is full buyer protection regardless of whether seller has removed funds or not.

The seller might be dead
That happened to my BIL, he died and my sister didn't have his password or even his user name so she couldn't get into his ebay and paypal account.
She knew there was no money in his account because he had transferred it out a few days before. She also knew he had some stuff for sale because it was all parcelled up ready for address labels.
As far as she knows it is still active somewhere and someone is waiting for a parcel that he bid on.
I told her to get in touch with ebay but she said she didn't want the bother. The parcels are still sitting unopened in her garage.0
