Egg yolk treatment after henna/indigo, anyone?

One problem with henna and indigo is that so much of it washes out. From what I understand about egg yolk treatment, it adds a layer of protein to the hair.
So, it got me to thinking, if egg yolk is used as a treatment after rinsing out the gloopy henna/indigo treatment, this should theoretically help keep the henna/indigo in. What do you think?

I don`t know except I once used whole egg as a hair conditioner then tried to rinse it out with hot water...
Big gooey mess! So use cool water to rinse!
I henna-ed my hair in my early twenties. Being new to all things hair dyeing, I misread the instructions and left it on for three hours instead of three quarters of an hour.
Walked around with dayglo orange hair for three months!"Ignore the eejits...it saves your blood pressure and drives `em nuts!"

ROFL. Did no kind soul tell you about indigo to tone down the redness?0
