London eye in November, advice please

Hi
I am going to London in the middle of November, and my DH has said he wants to go on the london eye. I've had a look at the website for prices etc, but am not sure of the best option. Is it worth paying extra for a fast track ticket in November? or will i be wasting my money if there are only short queues?
Also if i'm buying the fast track am i as well to go for the champagne as it's a similar price.
I've had a look at the 2 for 1 offer which is buying on the day and after i buy 2 train tickets i don't think it will be cheaper then buying a standard online (only £10 each).
Thanks for any advice.

If you buy London Travelcards at a train station booking office then you can use them for the 2-4-1 offers on daysoutguide.com, there's no need to buy train tickets specially for it.
As for the Eye - if you pre-book then you are stuck with whatever the weather is on the day of your ride.0 -
For the 2for1 offer, you only need to buy 1 ticket and that can be for just 1 stop.
Just to quote from the DaysOutGuide site -London Underground issued tickets (including Travelcards issued by London Underground ticket offices and agents) are NOT valid and will not be accepted at any attraction.Dave. :wave:0 -

Copied and pasted from 2 for 1 site

We had the VIP tickets in March - bought as a pressie by one of the kids. TBH, the only advantage was you queued in the freezing cold wind for a lot less time that the hoi polloi who were herded into a corral and had to wait until us elite had got on. But there was still at least 20 minutes wait for our queue and though it was sunny my goodness I was frozen. So if you go for the longer queue make sure you are well wrapped up with scarf, hat and gloves in November Enjoy0

if you collect them use tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for them.works out much better deal and you dont have to queue as you already have tickets0

In the end of the ticket office building there is a screening room where you are given glasses to see a short 4d film on the Eye. I don't think this is well advertised as always pretty empty whenever we have gone, but quite fun to do.0
