ex mil

ex mil and I stayed in touch after break up through cards didnt see each other but there was contact and news thru cards etc.

Recently I was told she moved to the area after selling up having previoulsy lived miles away. I havent heard from her. I kind of expected a change of address card. Do you think its strange she is in the area now yet hasnt forwarded her new address?

It will be interesting at Christmas maybe she will forward it then with card? By then it will be approx 6 months since the move?

Can i add i didnt think or expect to become bosom buddies but maybe expected she would send her change of address to me?

She might just be busy and you've been an oversight, if not it appears she would rather move on?? I'm not sure how you'd find that out though.

    Happy moneysaving all.

It has been known for the Post Office to lose letters. Maybe that's what's happened to yours and she's wondering why you haven't contacted her. If you can find her new address, why not send her a card?

Guess she could have been keeping in touch as she didnt' want to seem impolite, and didn't want to say anything in case it was awkward for you..
Did she contact you often prior to the move? And how do you know she moved - seems that if she had included the fact she was moving in a previous letter she would have provided the address as well if she planned to continue contact..

I think if it were me, I'd leave til Xmas and see if a card arrives. And if not, sadly move on.

Agree with this - maybe she is wondering why not heard from you... but not made further contact in case you didn't wish to keep in contact and didn't want to appear 'pushy'.
