  • Hi
    Many Congrats... How exciting!

I can thoroughly recommend the 'Your child at play' series by Marilyn Segal. There are 4 books covering different ages, starting with birth to 1 year. It gives super ideas on games to play to help development, how the child is developing in different areas and loads more. I found them inspirational and reassuring

Having not long had my second child I can tell you that it is truely a life changing (and time consuming) experience as well as much easier and less worrying the second time around.

Best of luck to Mum and Dad!

I'd have to agree with Dutchgirl and 16011996 The Secrets of the Baby Whisperer by Tracey Hogg is Fantastic and well worth buying. We have referred to it numerous times. We've also just brought the toddler one.

Is her website for you to have a look on. She also has programmes shown on Discovery health. But it doesn't look like they are on at the minute. Will keep an eye out and try to let you know when the next is on.

    Good luck with the baby
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.

Penelope Leach 'Your Baby & Child' is excellent. It really helps you to see things from the baby's point of view and has some brilliant advice. Wouldn't have got through the first months of parenthood without it.
