Best South East Asia Money Option - URGENT ADVICE APPRECIATED!!!!

Hi all,
This is my first post here.
On 17th October, I am setting off for South East Asia. I will be out there for 5/6 weeks and starting in Thailand before heading down through Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. These 4 countries each have their own currencies.
As it's a lengthy journey, I do not want to take cash with me as I wouldn;t feel comfortable carrying that amount for 5/6 weeks. Same applies for travellers cheques, plus I don;t want to be in a situation where I can run out of money in the evenings and on weekends.
Today, I have opened up an account at Nationwide and am due to receive the bank card within the next 5-7 days.
However, I'm just seeking advice as to what is the best and safest form of financing during my journey. I've looked at FairFX and CaxtonFX sites, as well as asked around travel agents and my head is spinning by now!!!!! As most take 7-10 days to process, I'm cutting it a bit fine by now!
Therefore, any advice on safest and cheapest way for me to be able to access my own money through my travels would be HUGELY appreciated!

Wrong bank account. Metro Bank is the one for you.
FairFx Anywhere via MoneySupermarket or Travelex Cash Passport Globe are the best prepaid cards for you.
Use American Express Sterling TCs and cash in conjunction with a credit card(Santander Zero/Halifax Clarity/Post Office/Nationwide) for Thailand, as the Thai banks take an extra £3 per cash machine withdrawal on top of whatever else your financial institution will charge.0
