Hi all
Going BR tomorrow, but today just had my final decision letter through from child tax credits & i've been overpaid by over £2000!!!!
Can this go on bankruptcy list, i'm assuming no, but worth an ask?!
Thanks!! x

Yes. It can go on the list.
Good timing.
If it had been dated later, it couldn't.
They will still be able to deduct from you current tax credits to recover some of it up until you are discharged from bankruptcy.
Anything left unpaid of the overpayment after that must then be written off.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
