Virgin MBNA Card UK - lower your interest

I just phoned up virgin, on the reverse charge number on the back of the card

I spoke to the customer service advisor about interest rates and was advised my 0% deal that was due to run until November was cancelled due to a late payment in september (the first one and only because I was away on honeymoon!). Anyway be careful if you have a 0% deal one late payment will end it.

She then past me onto the Interest team, the lady I spoke to there said she can not re-apply the 0%. So after much haggling I informed her I am moving my balace to Barclaycard at 6.9% for the life of my balance, she then gave me 6.9% until April 2007. A reduction from 16.9%

Not the greatest thing but every little helps :)
