passport countersigning

hi
I finally plucked up the courage to apply for a passport, at 38!!! I asked a friend who owns a cafe to countersign my application, but when i checked she had signed using my maiden name. I have applied in my married name (I am divorced) but use both. Will this matter, or will my application be rejected thanks

Yes.
A one word answer - please start again with your application.
Take care also that your passport is in the same name as your debit and credit cards.0 -
Please also check whether a cafe owner is an acceptable person to countersign. There is a list with the forms. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

They will probably ask you to come in to discuss your application. A friend of mine tried to apply to change her passport for the 4th time in as many years due to another name change and they wouldnt do it by post.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0
