Came across a free sewing pattern program today for different styles of bags, (plus other goodies such as hats/aprons/poncho's/slippers)
I've posted a fuller post in the Freebies Board - "Wild Things!" - but from a green point of view, this is just perfect! Especially if you print off the patterns onto already used paper which is only printed on one side already and (as I mentioned in the Daily in OS) you can recycle old fabrics from clothes/bedding/towels/curtains etc as a fabric source so that you'd end up with the free program, free paper and free fabric for a free shopping tote all home made
Didn't want anyone to miss out, I've downloaded it, played with it, printed off a couple of patterns and it's so worth a mention on the green front as well as the money saving front.
Enjoy!

Many thanks Queenie - I have often been tempted by this software to create patterns especially sized for me but haven't been able to justify the cost. Free is just brill. Many thanks DollyTrue wealth lies in contentment - not cash. Dollydaydream 20060

I've just ordered some plain cotton bags for the kids to decorate for me. A bargain at 85p each!

I actually keep meaning to get started on my first one... I should have enough plastic bags now... But as Tesco have now enabled me to not have to have my shopping delivered in bags any more I won't be getting any mroe to add to my collection - drat! Have had to start asking friends and neighbours to let me have any plastic bags they get so I can get enough to make one crochet plastic bag...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Wow, Tine. That's brilliant. Thank you so much.
It's almost a shame that I haven't got that many plastic bags left. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
