Can someone advise me please?

We have recently enquired about an insurance payment that has been going out of our business account since 1996. We thought it was just an ordinary business insurance, but it turns out to be an insurance on our overdraft. Is this still counted as a PPI and will we be able to claim it back as it is a business account. We are self-employed and didn't even realise we were paying this. If we can how far can we go back?

    Hi Diane and welcome

I am not too certain on overdraft PPI, but hopefully someone can confirm, but try to find out what it protects if you can, this way we may have more of an idea.;)

  • Hi. This PPi on our overdraft protects against illness, injury if we are unable to work and pay off the overdraft. PS we hardly ever use this overdraft.
