Card Protection Policy renewal – are they worth it

I’m starting to think if this policy is worth it. I have never ever used it and it has been increasing each and every year currently £16 per year with Barclaycard, covers the whole family though.
Does anyone know of any cheaper policy’s out there? Are they really worth it? The T&C’s probably wouldn’t cover any normal event anyway; they’ll just squeeze out of it as they always do. Then again that applies to all policies.
Comments appreciated.

If you still feel that it's worth it, try someone like CPP direct: http://www.cpp.co.uk/
I think plans can work out cheaper if you take them out for 3 years at a time.0 -
