Small token gesture gifts for mates for xmas

Hi all I am after a bit of inspiration
Every year at xmas, me and my friends get together and go out for a meal in the week leading up to xmas. We all agree not to buy gifts as there is about 20 of us altogether and no one can afford to buy that many gifts but we usually all give something small, a token gesture so to speak.
Last year I got creative and made snowman soup for them all. It didn't cost me much at all only my time and I thoroughly enjoyed making them and handing them out, everyone loved them. This year I am well and truly stuck for something to make. It needs to be something universal. We are a group of both males and females, non have children yet but couple of the couples in the group are married. Ages range from 20 to 30.
Any ideas would be fabulous, I don't mind how creative it is, the harder work the better so to speak. I have a ridiculous amount of cellophane left over from doing hampers last year so anything using that would be even better lol.
Thanks

I think pots of gold would probably be the way to go this time!0

How about secret santa instead. I go out with a lot of mates for a "posh" evening out around xmas time as we all bring a pressie to the value of £5, place them secretly into a xmas sack and then pick one out. This has always worked well over the years and is great fun!!:beer:0

Thanks for the ideas, pots of gold is definitely looking favourite I think! Just gotta find some lush pots!
Candjsmum, I have suggested secret santa in the past a few didnt like the idea. 1 couple has 10 siblings between them to buy for and I think they were stretched with that let alone with a secret santa. I understand where theyre coming from so unless someone else mentions it I shan't be doing this year, I don't want to upset anyone this year.
Thanks for the suggestions all of you x0 -
What about these? I'm making these for work friends this year and probably about 10 for me:p
