Problems with NS&I

Anyone had any problems opening an ISA with NS &I - I thought I would go for it and withdrawl the money from a previous year's tax ISA to invest this year but I applied on the 7th September. It took them a week to process which had to go via my home address before arriving here 2 days before the 21day limit to register. I sent it back but haven't heard anything yet which even allowing for the fact it had to go home and back seems to be taking a while and I'm losing interest here!

They took a while to process mine. But the interest was backdated to the date I applied. Hang on in there a little while longer.

my process took almost 2 months...I applied it during April this year. Well, they did offer me a £30 cheque as a good gesture...so can't complain it..

Hi there,

I had the same prob as arrived just 2 days before the limit - i also had to send 3 forms of verified proof for id/address. Needless to say i sent it late but still went through ok in the end and they backdate interest so hang in there! :grouphug:
