How namy duty free cigs UK Airport

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of cigs that you can buy at the duty free shops at the Airport?

Where are you going as you will be limited to the allowances for that country?

If it's within the EU then there is no duty free, only duty paid.

There is no limit on how many you can buy, only on how many you can bring into your destination country (and also back to the UK). This is 200 per person.

You can buy more, but customs regulations would require you to declare them and pay duty.

Outside EU, didn't mention that, because I know they won't sell them to you duty free.

I believe the import limit into Russia is 200 pp. Unless things have changed dramatically there, be prepared for an inspection of your luggage upon arrival. I really wouldn't try to bring more than the limit into Russia.

Also bear in mind that it will probably be cheaper to buy your duty free allowance to bring back into the UK in Moscow on the way back.
