in Credit cards
hi there
i have a question i was needing some help on.
i have just got a vanquis card and am planning on using it and paying it off every month to strengthen my credit rating.
i know some people say that 18 months of doing so will stand you in good stead to get a card from a mainstream lender.
my question is this though.
i have a scottish equivalent of a ccj on my file from a year and a half ago. is there much point in trying to do this with a credit card in the meantime, will it make any difference
any advice appreciated
