Just got an American Express Rewards card, and it mentions "Refund Protection" and "Purchase Protection"
I've had a look here - http://www.americanexpress.com/uk/express-rewards-credit-card/#sub3 - and I think I understand "Purchase Protection" (90 days theft / damage insurance on everything you buy with a £50 excess...), but dont quite understand the benefits of the "Refund Protection".
Help, please?

Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for a reason that is not covered by the shop's refund policy, then Amex (or their insurer) will take it back and refund you instead.
On the page you linked, click Read Summary of Benefits and all the legal stuff is explained. It's a PDF of a leaflet so the pages aren't in the right order, Refund Proftection starts near the end then goes back to the beginning.0
