Help!!
I am a new member and I have never posted a thread before- it's taken me ages to work it out!!
I want to make a purchase from USA. I know all about the handling charges and customs and the probability of extra charges. However I didn't realise that Paypal and Visa will also make a charge for converting the currency. So basically which is cheapist! ? So that I know who to use.
many thanks

Depends on which credit card you have.
They vary from 0% to 2.99%.
Can you tell us which card you have?0 -
Hello!
I have a Barclaycard and also Nationwide visa.0 -
Use the Nationwide visa and let them make the currency conversion as they only charge 1% as compared to paypal, which is close to 3%.0
