I have been following a thread on the internet access board where people signed up for virgin BB to get their lines set-up then moving to a cheaper BB provider after the stipulated 30 days.

Their problem is that virgin have put them on DATA stream rather than IP stream, thus limiting their choice of migration options.

Virgin say that they set-up either IP or DATA stream depending on the available capacity at the exchange. (IP where availability is high, DATA where availability is low).

According to this link Northern Ireland appears to have high capacity availability. Therefore we may be for once at an advantage to make use of this deal.

My question is has anyone recently taken the virgin deal and can they confirm that it is an IP stream connection.

Plenty of mistakes, but no regrets. :)
