Sony MP3 and Itunes

can someone tell me if it is possible to use Itunes with a sony MP3 player as I find sonic stage !!!!!! to use.

yes you can, but you need to do a sync the music.

Don't think so. You can use iTunes for downloads / management I would think, but you will need to drag n drop to your player.

Isn't there a basic incompatibility, in that the Sony 'Network Walkman' plays back files in one format, whereas iTunes stores them in another?

If you have Windows 7 and drag Itunes MP4 songs to a mp3 device it will convert them to WMA.

If you want to play Itunes Mp4 pop videos on a non mp4 player you can use "Any Video Converter" from filehippo.com

Why use music software at all? just drag & drop; it's what I do with my Sony.

I use MediaMonkey with my Sony, works fine.

I suspect that you have an older Sony that use the "ATRAC" system. I don't think its compatable with other software. Though there is conversion software out there but it is a long time since I used any.
