I was in my local IKEA yesterday and the cashier told me that they no longer charge for using credit cards.
I couldn't find this posted elsewhere, apologies if it has been.

Really, that's an interesting change since I was in the Croydon store recently...ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)
NOV 2021 O/S AMOUNT £1,694.41 OUR DEBT REDUCED BY £104,759.59 by std regular, over-payments & off-setting.
BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 20270 -
Yes the 70p charge was removed ealier in the year for the self service tills.
The 70p charge has now been removed from the regular tills too as of the 1st of September.
This has been done based on customer AND staff feedback across IKEA as a whole0
