Sygma Credit Card

Hi,
Last week i applied online for the flybe credit card which i believe is part of Sygma and got instantly rejected for it. I have checked my credit profile with experian and equifax and nothing untoward is on there, all up to date with green ticks. I applied with Capital One middle of July and was succesful for there credit card and last week got accepted with Vanquis and Aqua.
My reason for the post was i have read alot on here about the Silver Mastercard which is also part of Sygma, would it be pretty pointless applying for this being there part of the same group? Is it the same as or easier to get compared to the flybe card? Also is the silver mastercard the same as the creation card i have been reading about?
Thanks

Yup defo pointless applying for another sygma group card in the next three months.
How old are your oldest and newest accounts? How many searches have you had against your Equifax credit file in the last six months? Is your equifax file showing your Electoral Role registration?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

H izools,
My oldest account is 2006, up to date never missed a payment nor been late. The newest account(s) would be vanquis and aqua which were opened last week but as i havent received the cards through the post as of yet i guess the newest running account is Capital One from July. Equifax is showing 2 searches within the last 6 months, experian are showing 4. Both equifax and experian are showing my electoral registration.0 -
That's a bit odd then. Was the Cap 1 card your first credit card? I ask because I was declined for the Silver card last November but accepted in March and the only difference being that my (Vanquis & Aqua) card had been open for longer.
I would retry in six months once you've got a longer credit card history on your file, you should be good to go based on what you've saidCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Yes the Capital one card was my first card? i've been paying it off in full (2 payments now made), had been runing the account since July. I then tried flybe which was instantly declined and then got instant approval with Vanquis and Aqua. Maybe i should run all three accounts as you say for six months and then try again0 -
it maybe then that you dont have enough history, credit card that is0

Do they just check equifax for the Creation card? I've only been on the Electoral role for 1 year at my current address, but have had a capital one card for about 15months. Reckon I have decent chance of getting excepted? Also no other nasties on my file.
