God help them...Boots I mean. Honestly I think this is a wind-up as surely no one with 5 years of secondary education behind them could really not know how to spell "really". mind you I went through the NZ school system - perhaps it really is that bad here?
Yes grammar and spelling does matter and if you can't cope with that then at the very least use a spell checker. But the worst thing is that this is indicative of a general attitude problem - a case of "if you don't like it then too bad". it won't get you far and if a future of working on the tills at Boots is all you aspire to then you have achieved your goal.
if you have a place at uni then hopefully this will soon beat this attitude out of you. Higher education is a privilege and if you can't be bothered to take it seriously then I can't see you lasting too long at all. leave the spaces to people who are serious academic students because something tells me you are going to make a hash of it.
Apologies for speaking my mind.0 -
her grammar and spelling has nothing to do with her academic career. its a generational thing, peopl have got into text speak its quicker, but this doesnt have any reflection on her academic work. Jesus you she see doctors notes they are shocking and more and more text like
good on you for gettin jobRude people are a fact of life, if you wrestle with a pig you will stink! There's no getting around this concept. If you allow yourself to go someone's level you will only bring yourself down.0 -
