I hope to god that you talk a lot better than the chavspeak you post. Your post makes you look as thick as two short planks and if you speak how you post, that's exactly how you'll come across to the interviewer.

What Hammyman is trying to say is now you have an interview, its all about you selling yourself.

Boots will want to see if you could be the face of their store when customers walk in.

Try not to over make yourself up. Wear pleasant but not over stylish clothes with sensible shoes, you will be on your feet a lot if you get the job.

Answer questions with the sort of vocabulary you would use for Gran and if you write down, use full words not Txt speak.

Think of how you would deal with a difficult or insulting customer, they may ask about this. It is normal to be asked where you see yourself in 5 Years, think about that, they do not expect you to stay beyond 3 but answers like "I have no idea where my life is going" are not ideal.

the best you can be is yourself so try that.
Marry a Foreigner, its so much cheaper!
  • Well, when i worked at boots 14 years ago, we had a basic maths and English exam as part of the interview process. Working on the till drove me nuts but i enjoyed being out on the shop floor.

I expect they'll do something similar still

Let's hope for the OP's sake they don't do the same now.

God help us. What is it about the young generation that makes them want to appear stupider than they actually are?

it's all about speed! to me the op just seems excited and possibly nervous about her interveiw and wanted to post and receive answers quickly.

sabz.........it's wednesday so don't forget to tell us how it went!
  • it went horriable, this was my 1st interview in retail and i messed up 1 time big time. she asked me hand out baskets, pack bags, find cheapest paracetamol, and advise on one of the ailes

i got reali nervous, i started shaking and i was fasting so mind kept going on my empty stomache.neways shes going to let me know tommarrow because shes got two more people in for interview and they only want one person...im going to fail this..( i know my spelling is bad but if u can read den i dnt c da probbzzz)
  • Wow, not even till work. So all you needed to be was polite and friendly.

As a tip, Boot's own brand is sometimes more expensive than other paracetamols but Boots make more profit if they sell their own..

Ditch the txt spk, this isn't a text message to your m8s

Well now you know that it is a problem, so either stop taking the p iss or get thee to an adult learning centre/local college.
