I use Fidelity as my Stocks& Shares provider. My question is how safe are Fidelity? regarding the £50,000 limit or doesnt that come into effect because I use different unit trusts ie Aberdeen , Blackrock as well as Fidelity for some of my investments.
Thanks for any help Redmorris11

It has almost no bearing at all on the safety of your investments. Fidelity hold all of your assets in a ring-fenced environment, so if anything happened to Fidelity the assets would be transferred to your name.

The safety of your unit trusts is another matter altogether, though that's a performance issue rather than anything else.
