Credit Card Refund

Long story short. A trader refunded me money, 11 days ago. I have the reference number as the refund occured via the phone. I have now made contact with the trader at least 6 times and at least once face to face. They promise to sort it but don't get back to me. What is my next step please? I phoned my credit card company who have no record of the refund. Finding this very time consuming!
