Hi! This might be a stupide question. I was wondering if you are aloud to pay in to more than one cash ISA in one tax year but obviously not going over the £5100 limit between the two?

What happened is I opened a cash ISA in 09/10 and put money in that. This year I have opened a new cash ISA that is a much a better rate, but I can not transfer my money from my old cash ISA to the new one, so I will have to keep open my old ISA and pay in to the new one. But I realised I have already put some money in my old cash ISA this year! Dose this mean I can not now pay money in to my new cash ISA now? Hope this makes sence.
