    I've been Money Tipped!
Sounds like you have made the best decision and well done for that, it is really hard to walk away but you have had the courage and strength to do it .

Remember it is not you that has thrown it away it is him and you couldn't have done anything differently.

Have you got a network of friends and family you can draw on for support if and when you need it.

You can now look forward to a new life with your children

    Keep smiling hun x

Well done on making the decision, very proud of you. Can't have been easy and like you say will be a long road, but at least the right road. I wish you all the very best of luck, take each day as it comes. You are very brave for doing this, many people would stay for money, children etc but my mum stayed with my dad for the sake of us 4 children, he was violent, abusive, down right nasty and had numerous affairs - none of us see him now! The moral/point of me telling you that is that children do not necessarily want parents to stay together - even after everything my mum encouraged us to see him! I cannot and do not cal him my dad! He did nothing for us, now 16 years later, and at almost 30 years old, I do not see him. Your children will make up their own minds. Be strong and let them decide what they want to do re seeing him. Reassure them all the time that they have done nothing wrong, some children blame themselves for divorce - not sure how the children's relationship is with their father but they will come to their own conclusions just like we all did, and none of us see my sperm donor! Sorry for ramble, just got a bit carried away.

Good luck and well done, this is the first day of the rest of your life now you have made that decision. Sending hugs :)

Good luck Pixie - you are very brave, and I hope that you will see that the future can only be better than that which you are leaving behind, for you and your kids!
