Changing from one currency for another

I don't pay this on my card. You're not looking at the standard cashplus are you? The cashplus euro is, unsurprisingly, in euro so as long as you spend in euro, you don't pay anything.

Looking at my account now, if I load my euro card up with £100, I get 120 euros added to the balance. Compare that with the travelex cash rate (118.20), or post office (118.14), it looks reasonable to me, especially if you are going to be making lots of small purchases or cash withdrawals which most people would do while abroad if they had the option.

It means I don't have to worry about immediately transferring funds to cover credit card cash withdrawals (which also look bad on your credit file).

The Euro card says "no comissions" however at the bottom it says "car & usage fees apply".
I can't see what these are anywhere, so I don't really like the website much.

That's the £5 a month you pay for the main card (or 95p per transaction). Granted the website isn't all that but it's intended for people who already have a cashplus mastercard so they wouldn't be paying any extra to what they do already.

ok, so the £60 annually is a bit of a put off for people who don't use Euros many times a year.
I'm going on holiday 3 times this year, but I'll onyl be using Euros once, so I wouldn't want to pay £60.

    Thanks for the info.
Would like to know more about the damage that will be done to my credit rating by using Clarity.
I've never seen this info on my credit report before (but never used credit cards for cash either).
