Student Loan & Data Protection

I obtained a student loan in 1994, which I know from research is now statute barred. At the time I was living at my mothers address. A company called Link have telephoned her today asking to speak to me and revealed the call was regarding a student loan. I have not lived there for 14 years. My mother has not revealed any of my information. Have they broken the Data protection Act by revealing the call was about a student loan?

Old style loans were normal credit agreements and subject to the normal statute rules.
Not sure on breach of the DPA OP, you could report them for breach if you feel it is worthy although not sure what you hope to achieve from it.Thinking critically since 1996....0
