Never had trouble with LloydsTSB cards abroad.
MBNA have always worked, but they do ask you to inform them you are intending using them and the start and finish dates of the trip.
Have had trouble with Yorkshire Bank abroad - transaction refused at 11.00pm - when challenged afterwards, they said we should have phoned them to get it cleared (from a shop? in Turkey? at that time of night? !).0 -
