however I still don't think this house is worth the asking price even with the so called discount. Those pictures would never have enticed me to view this one

I can't believe anyone would allow photos to be taken of their home in that state. Especially that kitchen. What does it mean by "centrally heated (where specified)"?0

We've recently had an offer acceted on a house that looked similarly bad!!! It was rented out, and the tenants simply didn't care. We overlooked the house for ages because of the messy photos and then decided jus to go and see it...lucky we did as we fell in love with it - admittedly though you do need vision to see past all the mess!!0

there is a radiator behind the grey settee in the reception room and one in the kids bedroom... i expect the rest are hidden behind clutter....0

I'd do some cleaning for a £30,000 reduction.Been away for a while.0

I'd save a bit more and buy on the right part of Scarisbrick New Road. Some very big houses on that street (where my old Uni LL lived).0

All about seeing past the material things, take all that !!!!!! out and you got a half decent space to work with (if that area etc is your cup of tea) - STC so maybe you missed a little gem?:rotfl:0

It's in Southport. It's a really expensive part of the NW to buy property. OH's sister lives there in a house just a little bit larger than our 1 bed flat. Southport IS nice though.0
