Question about credit card and credit rating

I have had a credit card for approximately 10 years now.
It is only used for purchases made on the internet.
It automatically gets paid off by direct debit each month.
Previous to the direct debit, I paid by cheque.
Over 5 years ago, a small amount remained unpaid on the card for 2 months. This was because I was out of the country and I did not realise there was an unpaid amount on the card (for a very small amount). As a result of this, I was charged 2x£40. This was paid immediately on my return home.
My question is, what sort of impact is this likely to have on my credit rating?
Other than this infringement, I can confidently say my credit history is squeeky clean.

A late payment 5 years ago?

The reason for asking this, is because we are looking to buy a house in the near future, and wondered whether it would impact on the chances of getting a mortgage.0
