which hotel company to include next

Hi guys,

I run the website hotelscomparison.com

I am currently considering the next hotel booking company to include on my site. I have 17 companies in the results at the moment.

Please tell me which quality hotel sites I should include next.

Thanks,
Mr Thrifty

  • Question: does your "results list" include the main ones "hotels.com", "expedia" etc?

Each time I've used your site you seem to have to click externally to see what deals these companies are offering (unless they're not competitive enough for the "result list").
  • How about Med Hotels, Freedomdirect or Findmeaccom.

    Burtie,

    Thanks for your reply.
Expedia and hotels.com are part of the same group. They have a company wide policy of NOT wanting to be on comparison sites. I used to have Expedia in the main results of my site until I received a solicitors letter from Seattle telling me to remove them.

The only way I can include them is to have them open up in a separate browser.

    Thanks,
    Mr thrifty
  • agree with sloppychops medhotels would be good
aLso I know you have chains like holiday inn already on there but how about some of the other big chains Hilton, Sheraton because searching recently I found it cheaper to book direct witht he chain rather than through one of the brookers

Is Findmeaccom the same as find me a room/wintersunshine?
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
  • what about lowcostbeds.com ?

I also agree with the comments about the hotel sites sometimes having better prices. Medhotels would also be very useful.
  • Thanks for the feedback.
I will check out those companies.

I am also considering asiarooms, placestostay and hotelbook.
Do anybody have anything good/bad to say about these companies.

    Thanks again,
    Mr Thrifty

  • I'd like to see AsiaRooms included, have used them for a hotel booking in Cambodia.

    Have also used

  • Hola mr_thrifty,

I'm a newcomer of the forum. Live in Madrid, Spain. I use to buy Spanish hotels online at bookassist.com
I do often use your website, it's brilliant.
There are many booking portals in my country but I know they usually do not provide XML integrations, can you add them anyway?

  • Ooh, I'd like to see sawadee.com and precisionreservations.com, please.
  • Forgot to say, asiarooms have a bit of a bad reputation.
