Yeah MBNA are great for offers like this, I have an old executive club card account which gives existing customer offers of 1.9%. Worth keeping open for the benefits :j_________________________________________
@ 08/13 total was £8,008.28-Pay off £1500 by end 2013 Challenge = £220/ £1500 14.67%0 -
I did this one last year and it has been a good deal. The card and pin arrived and have just been left hidden away at home. I've pretty much paid it off now ready for the offer ending on my October statement date.
Statements arrived every month with the correct details and rates, i made my payments on time and had no problems.
Recommended deal!

So would this be a good bet for a BT to pay off a loan currently at 7.9%? or is the 1.9% they advertise a monthly rate?"Getting Married" - The act of betting half of everything you own on the fact you will love someone forever :rotfl:0

Just cancelled my previous mbna card 2 months ago, re-applied and £8700 limit
perfect, 2 loans to transfer with only about ~12 months of payments left anyway! Saves me the interest difference!

Yes, the 1.9% is APR.
On £4000 it was £7 a month interest or something i think. Statement not with me.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

I just applied for this card submitted the credit check and then it came up with a credit agreement stating the APR i would recieve would be 24.9%.
I then had to digitally sign the credit agreement it went to the next page and it said you will hear in the next 7 - 10 days?
anyone know if i have a chance of being accepted. It's took me a while but now my credit file is really clean no marks or that.0 -
just appliedfor this card, got declined>i have never had a problem with credit so i gave them a phone and i was declined due to having a credit card with them with a large outstanding credit limit
Just beware if you are in a similar position0 -

Did you have a large limit, or a large balance?
Reason I ask is that I just applied for the BT Credit card (to get £40 credited to my BT account). I already have two other MBNA cards with high limits (but no balances). I got a call from the underwriters and we agreed to lower the limits on my two existing MBNA cards so that I could get the BT card.0 -
